Ayẹni Adékúnlé Samuel captioned; This is my story. I hope it inspires you. I hope it convinces you that it, indeed, is possible. Good morning!
I was asked to write a tribute when my dad died in 2011. All I could write was ‘words fail me’. Eight years after, I’m finding it difficult again, to find the right words. To find myself on the cover of a Forbes supplement on PR and advertising in Africa is not something I’d have imagined 13 years ago when I founded BHM. I’m grateful to everyone who made this happen. But more importantly, to everyone who’s ever given us business, opened doors for us, worked at BHM, and essentially played a part in how we got here.
It’s still a long journey ahead, and although I often say ‘it is possible’, I recognize everything we do is futile without the support of friends, family, and helpers. I do hope you’re able to lay your hands on the September issue of @ForbesAfrica; the writers @fisayosoyombo and @sam_adeoye did an amazing job profiling @stevebabaeko and I. What a privilege. Thank you
