Seasoned Journalist Gbenga Davies buried

Gbenga Davies who slumped and died while watching a football match with friends last Friday has been buried.

His final journey home began around 11.00am yesterday, 14th of August when his body left the General Hospital, Sokenu, Abeokuta for the NUJ Secretariat, Iwe Iroyin House, Abeokuta, for service of songs. His remains was finally laid to rest at a Cemetery in Abeokuta afterwards.

Popularly called Gbengene, he is survived by his wife, four children, brothers, and an aged mother.
