Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde,Lanre Olusola, Dayo Adeneye, Others to Celebrate Adesuwa Onyenokwe In Exclusive Brunch #celebratingAO

Long post alert! I have begun this note a million times in my head, now I am just going to let the holy spirit guide. Please note 3 take aways.
1. What you sow you reap.
2. The young shall grow.
3. It's never over till it's over.
I didn't realise how much I needed to cry until my friend @Ifeomaidigbe mentioned it to me after I bawled my eyes out at the surprise birthday coup planned by @tarafeladurotoye @debolalagos with the absent chude @joyinc.
Family knows I cry often. When I am sad, happy, anxious, scared and so on. But bawl? Rarely. The type that has your body wracked in sobbing motions. I was totally overwhelmed by the speed with which they pulled up a mix of differrent people in my work life that have become family though I do not see them often. It could only have been the HOLY Spirit. It can only be That. When things align without any special effort. When you walk blindly and it comes out right.
• Let me explain. Since I turned 50, 6 years ago Adebola had consistently hounded me that he, Chude and the Future crew would like to host me to a birthday party. I always had one excuse or the other. It was Lanre Olusola @thecatalyst who kind of helped me see why this was so. People like us who give of ourselves seem like we have it all together? Which we often do, but we need a hello, how are you and hi from others, not to validate but affirm that we are thought of. Even if we do not realise it. I fall into that group of those who do not realise it. What happens to such is that we kid ourselves that people's affirmations dont count even when we are being eaten up with either regret or anger that you have been forgotten. That was the case with me and the Future 'boys', now men. Smile. Let it be said that I didn't realise how much I meant to them even though I wished I was held in a special place for having been there for them from the beginning. And then Tara. Always on at me to explore and innovate no matter how much I try to fob her off with my I am too old to do this. Then, for all those who made it to that brunch, THANK YOU. May same be done to you in Jesus' name. AMEN. #celebratingAO
