Larry King, 85, divorcing seventh wife Shawn after nearly 22 years of marriage

Larry King has filed for divorce from Shawn Southwick, his seventh wife, after nearly 22 years of marriage.

It has been reported in US media that the 85-year-old former TV talk show host had filed the divorce at Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences.

The date given for his separation from 59-year-old Shawn was June 6, 2019.

The couple have two sons together - Chance, 20, and Cannon, 19 - after marrying on September 5, 1997.

It has been a rocky relationship, with reports of King being 'distraught' after discovering his wife had allegedly been having a year-long affair, back in 2016.
