Dineo Ranaka has reportedly refused to sign a letter of demand for a R20 000 debt.

According to SowentanLIVE, her former manager Palesa Molemela pitched up at the Metro FM studios this week with the letter.

Dineo was live on air when the manager arrived with a police escort.

“Police waited for her, as she was still on air and then she eventually came out. She walked past us. The police came out five minutes later to tell me she refused to sign.

“She said ‘I have already sent a letter of demand through my attorney’ and the only communication from her will be through her lawyer,” Palesa told the publication.

Dineo was allegedly embarrassed that police showed up at her place of work with the letter

The letter reportedly states that Dineo has 14 days to pay the amount or a summons will be issued for the recovery of the debt owed.

Palesa says Dineo owes her R22 000 for services she rendered as Dineo’s booking manager between October 2017 and August 2018.

She dropped the amount to R20 000 this week in order to take her case to the small claims court.

Dineo has not commented on the latest developments in the case.
