Kourtney Kardashian and ex Scott Disick speak on co-parenting their 3 children and balancing their relationship.
In a new interview with Kourtney’s lifestyle platform Poosh, they talk about the most challenging times they’ve faced as co-parents, how they learned to communicate and set boundaries, and how they make sure the kids Mason, Penelope, and Reign have the right values.
“We had to literally go to therapy to talk…to even get through…to be able to communicate together,” Kourtney said.
She added: “I think the hardest part [of co-parenting] was when we both started new relationships. Because that caused fights between you and I about introducing the kids. I think that caused the most challenges. That was the time that you and I had our biggest [challenge,] where we had to literally go to therapy to talk [and] to even get through [and] be able to communicate together.”
Scott added: “I think the biggest challenge was just trying to figure out how we separate our relationship as friends and parents and still be on the same page. And, what’s appropriate and what’s not and when to be able to talk to each other. In the beginning you set good [boundaries] and then we learned from that and got to a good place.”
