From the moment we announced #FINETheShort, I got a lot of messages and questions about why I chose to work with Odenike. Even Odenike asked me once ‘Lala why would you trust me with your talent’.
Some other people have asked: ‘Why a short film and not a feature ‘? So I was very happy when these questions came up during our Q & A.
I really also want us to kill this myth that women don’t support women or that women don’t help other women climb up. 90% of the opportunities that have been created for me were done by women and we must continue to pay it forward. .
