Nigeria's foremost soft sell magazine City People awarded Chief Mrs Quincy Olasumbo Ayodele the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 22nd City people Award for Excellence.
Quincy Herbal Slimmers as an authority in traditional medicine not only in Nigeria, but also across the African and beyond. The matriarch, Mrs. Ayodele, comes from a long line of traditional medicine practitioners.
The family business started in 1996 in a small office at 16 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi in Lagos, Nigeria. .
For the event,she wore a lovely gold, beige beaded dress and gold gele with gold accessories.
She was accompanied by her husband Engr Ladi Ayodele and 2 daughters, Tobi Keeney and Tola Abdul.
Quincy Herbal Slimmers made the headlines in many U.S papers and magazine, because one of its products Quincy Herbals Detox Tea was featured in the luxury gift bags for the just held Oscars 2019.

Speaking at the event, Seye Kehinde, the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, said the award is in appreciation of her remarkable achievements in the beauty sector.“It is an evening of awards and celebrations. The awardees are people who have excelled in their various areas of endeavours. We have been celebrating achievers in their various sectors and we are here to celebrate with them,” he said.
Quincy Ayodele was amongst other prominent herbal practitioners in Nigeria, who were invited by the Federal Government to help chart a course for the development of herbal medicine in Nigeria.
She joined Prof. Maurice Iwu, (Pharmacognosist/ Bioresources Development & the Conservative Programme Chairman/ South-East), Hajia Zainab Shariff (Director of TCAM Dept, WAHO Director) Dr Adagazu, and other experts in the committee.
