Nollywood's Genevieve Nnaji who spoke at the London School of Economics Africa Summit, saidthat her own feminism is just about human rights.
According to the Lionheart diva, she believes everyone has a right to live the way they want. Genevieve Nnaji who stated that her own feminism is just human rights, added that if she was a man it will still be same thing.
She said;
“I think my own feminism is just human rights.
I am a human who has a right to having choices.
I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. It’s just that simple.
If I were a man, it will be the same thing.
At the end of the day, I was born alone, I will die alone, I breathe alone,
so I definitely have rights to how I want to live my life.”
This is coming after a Nigerian lady alleged that the feminism campaign, is an abbreviation of female stupidity and those behind it won’t get equal at the end of the day. According to the Nigerian lady who stated that feminism is an abbreviation of female stupidity, women behind the campaign should split their pregnancy into halves and give the man his share since they are equal.
