MMi Casa is set to provide support to the victims of the disaster, which caused great damage in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. Mi Casa is a group based in Johannesburg, South Africa and consisting of three members, Dr. Duda and pianist, J’Something, and Mo-T.
Cyclone Idai has been described as one of the worst tropical cyclones on record, to affect Africa and the Southern Hemisphere as a whole. Mozambique was greatly affected as the tropical storm tore through, and caused irreversible damage.
The long-lived storm lasted almost 3 weeks and caused catastrophic damage in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. More than 600,000 people have been affected by the devastation with the death toll reaching 800 as of Saturday. Hundreds are stlll missing.
