Man calls out Access Bank manager for allegedly seizing staff’s phone @myaccessbank

A Nigerian man has called out an Access Bank Manager at Iwo Brank, Ibadan for allegedly seizing a staff’s phone and also calling another stupid, and the phone hasn’t been released till now. He wrote;

I have been trying to reach my sis who works with @myaccessbank but was unable to reach her ,only to get a call from her few mins ago and she told me it was her boss who seized her phone at work for whatever reason. The phone hasn’t been released to her even as I tweet this

Why seize someone’s phone and deny them access to communicate? What if something happened on her way home and she needed to make calls to people? I believe this is unethical and very bad of @myaccessbank as an organization

This happened at @myaccessbank Iwo road branch, Ibadan. According to her, it was the branch manager who seized the phone. I believe this is unethical and shouldn’t be allowed. This is pure abuse of power.

Another Twitter user who corroborated the story wrote;

I think the branch manager at #myaccessbank Iwo road is power drunk. The same woman called a staff “stupid” in the banking hall a few days ago. Why would a sane person seize someone else’s phone and take it home? I know bankers do not use phone during office hour but it would be too strict a decision if lunch break is inclusive. For Christ sake there could be emergency from home or something… @myaccessbank is it wrong for staff to check their phones during lunch break?
