With the My Shade My Power Campaign in Lagos, the French top makeup brand hosted partners and influencers in Nigeria to a garden-themed Parisian brunch at The Tea Room, Lagos to launch the new La Vie Est Belle fragrance.The influencers were treated to a French-inspired brunch; cocktails, and champagne while they networked and enjoy the ambience. Lancôme gifted 70 top influencers its La Vie Est Belle fragrance for International Women’s Day.
Lancôme is the only makeup brand with a foundation that lasts 24 hours,with a matte finish, and most shades for women . In his masterclass, David demonstrated how to create a nude face beat as seen on actress Julia Roberts for the La Vie Est Belle campaign.
The newly minted Tea Room Lekki was transformed into a garden with lovely flowers. Brunch started with a welcome address from Lancôme Product Manager New Markets- Suzie Meyer, then a quick masterclass by Head International Makeup Artist and Trainer- David Beaudu.
He showcased a live demonstration while guests were served champagne, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Coranson demonstrated how to use the complete Teinte Idole Life proof set (Prep & Matte, Blur & go, Long Time No Shine, Teinte Idole Ultra Wear Foundation, & the Fix It Forget It Spray). David completed his masterclass by spritzing the La Vie Est Belle En Rose fragrance on his model.
Retail & Education Manager Hazem Zahrouni then excited the ladies with “The Olfactive Game” where he challenged the ladies to recognize the scents of the various La Vie Est Belle fragrances, as well as guess the La Vie Est Belle En Rose scent.
Florist Denike Balogun taught the ladies how to put together a bouquet,the life span of fresh flowers, and how to preserve their bouquets.
Suzie Meyer spoke about the inspiration behind the garden event said she wanted to “create a space to exchange, meet and share happiness while creating extraordinary moments for the Nigerian women.”The CEO of Lancôme’s PR company in Nigeria Glam Brand Agency- Bola Balogun stated; “We are excited Lancôme is authentically focused on diversity and inclusion of the African women in their products and campaigns.”
