Nigerian actress Adesua Etomi has been nominated alongside Davido, IK Osakioduwa and a host of other world superstars for the Nickelodeon Kids’ choice awards. The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is an American Annual Awards show produced by Nickelodeon.
Adesua Etomi-Wellington and Osakioduwa were nominated for the Favourite African Star category. The awards ceremony will be held at the Galen Centre in Los Angeles, California on the 3rd of March with DJ Khaled who was nominated for Favourite Male Artist playing. Davido was nominated for the Favourite Global Music Star category alongside Taylor Swift and David Guetta while both host.
Etomi attended Corona School in Victoria Island, Lagos, where she joined the drama club at the age of seven. Thereafter, she attended Queen’s College, Lagos before moving to the United Kingdom at the age of 13 years old, and later obtained a diploma in “physical theatre, musical theatre and performing arts” from City College Coventry in 2004. After completing these courses in 2006 with triple distinctions, she studied drama and performance at the University of Wolverhampton, graduating with first-class honours
