Adesua Etomi reacts to current controversies surrounding her Vogue cover

A Nigerian writer took to social media to condemn actress Adesua Etomi’s Vogue cover. According to the young man identified as Tosin Silverdam, the actress looks like a slave for the other ladies on the cover. He went on to question why she was regarded as one of the biggest actresses in Nollywood.

Adesua  reacted via her twitter handle, she wrote: “As much as I appreciate the love and support, I really wish people won’t abuse others on my behalf. It’s not what I’m about. I’m learning to rise above it all and I hope I inspire others to do the same. Our words will forever be imprinted, I hope we learn to use them wisely”.
