The Vice-Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Peter Obi, has admitted that Atiku Abubakar’s age is a disadvantage, however, his experience will make up for his old age.
This he revealed while featuring in a town hall meeting titled TheCandidates on Wednesday, which was monitored by POLITICS TIMES.
The moderator, Kadariah Ahmed, asked Obi whether he had changed his mind about the inability of old persons to effectively govern.
Obi had some years ago urged older Nigerians to make way for the younger generation.
He, however, said Nigeria had retrogressed hence concessions could be made for persons like Atiku
Obi said, “You are talking of age but I am looking at experience; the cumulative experience of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a unifier that can bring Nigeria together and I will support him considering the age difference.”... spill TEA ☕
