Yai was recruited by the iconic fashion designer, Miuccia Prada, to star in her eponymous Spring/Summer 2018 advertising campaign. Yai opened Prada’s Fall/Winter 2018 runway show, making her the first Sudanese model to do so, and the second Black model, since Naomi Campbell did same in 1994.
