A British hacker has been jailed for three years after being found guilty of breaking a nation's Internet connection. Daniel Kaye, 30, launched a devastating cyberattack on the Liberian mobile operator Lonestar in October 2015, which became so powerful that it destroyed the West African country's internet year-round next.   He was hired by a senior employee of rival operator Cellcom, the British Crime Agency announced in a statement, although there is no reason to believe that Cellcom was aware of this activity. Kaye was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison by Blackfriars Crown Court in central London after pleading guilty to the crime.
