Zuri Hall gives Key Note Speech At the NAACP Toledo for on economic empowerment + the power of voting (video)

28-year-old E! News correspondent and Toledo native gives first keynote speech ever and damnnn she got a standing ovation
She captioned; So honored to give the @NAACP keynote speech on economic empowerment + the power of voting — at my hometown chapter’s 103rd Freedom Fund Banquet. Thank you for having me! ❤️🙏🏾
Last weekend, I gave my first keynote speech ever. I hope it won’t be the last. It scared the hell out of me. But I’m so glad I did it scared — and used my voice — because you know what scares me more? Having my voice silenced. Having OUR voices silenced. Because YOUR voice (+ your vote) MATTERS.

And to my American brothers & sisters (of all races, ethnicities & socioeconomic backgrounds) who think certain issues don’t affect you directly: Consider your friends. Your neighbors. Your colleagues. Don’t just vote for yourself. Vote for the people who need you as an ally. And encourage your friends & fam to do the same!! We’re all in this together. #VOTE.
