TEN Punchlines from Nigerian vice presidential candidates at the #2019Debate

The vice presidential debate hosted by the Nigeria Election Debate Group (NEDG) and Nigeria Broadcasting Organizations (BON) held at the Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja.   A multifaceted process independently administered led to the election of the five political parties that participated in Friday's presidential debate.   Present in the debate were ACPN Ganiyu Galadima, Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya of ANN, APC Professor Yemi Osinbajo, PDP Peter Obi and YPP Umma Getso. The debate was an interesting one with presidential candidates, categorically declaring their plans for Nigeria and answering critical questions about the rise of the nation and its future.

5. Umma Getso said there is no party except YPP in Nigeria that has given priority to women. She says Kingsley Mahogany's administration will give equal opportunities for men and women to serve in his government at all levels.

10. For Yemi Osinbayo, Nigeria is where it is today because of 16 years of mistreatment. He, however, says the current administration has taken steps to "repair the damages that have been made" by fighting leakages in the government.
