The Council of Legal Education released the result of the Bar Final Examination and for the 1st time in the history of the Nigerian Law School, over 160 students finished with a first class degree.
@SansHubris tweeted that, out of the 160 first class graduates, 113 were women, noting that, ” The future is female.”
Responding to his tweet, Ibukun Awosika said that the future is both.
According to the chairwoman of First Bank of Nigeria, we may be making a mistake by emphasizing on one gender over the other.
Because of the many years of discrimination against women and girls, the world is drawing more attention to females, fighting for them and creating opportunities for them to excel. While this is great, we should not forget that that true equality includes both sexes.
