Cuppy received an award from the Lagos Ministry of Youth And Social Development as ‘Artiste Of The Year’. She posted the news across her social media platforms thanking the Lagos State Government for the honor.
“As a 25 year old Nigerian, the youth are ALWAYS my priority! Thank you to Lagos State for this tremendous honour! #CuppyOnAMission #ToCuppyThisTune”
This award definitely goes to show that there are people that actually appreciate her brand and the music she puts out. In Nigeria, that is an achievement on many grounds.
This is not the first entertainment award Cuppy is receiving as she has won the ‘Female Dj of the year’ award at the Glitz Awards two years in a row. Tear 2016 and 2017. She was also nominated for ‘Dj Of The Year’ at AFRIMMA this year.
