Alex Rodriguez asks court to cut ex-wife Cynthia’s support from $115K-a-month to $20K-a-month

 

Alex Rodriguez paid Cynthia $115,000 a month tax-free in combined child support and spousal support for the care of his two daughters: Natasha, 13, and Ella, 10.


Sources tell TMZ that Rodriguez, 43, is asking the court to decrease the $115,000 a month now that his salary has gone from $30 million a year to around $3 million a year.


Alex, who is now dating Jennifer Lopez, 49, estimates that the expenses for his daughters can cost anywhere from $7,000 a month to $12,000 a month. He is offering to pay Cynthia $20,000 a month in combined child and spousal support.


But Cynthia countered A-rod’s offer and is demanding $50,000 a month.


A source tells TMZ that Alex is “vexed” because his ex-wife has millions in the bank, and owns three homes and several luxury cars. The source said Rodriguez feels like he is bankrolling Cynthia, a psychologist who chooses not to work, her fiancé, and their new child.
