
Bonang Matheba joined the list of influential leaders at the United Nations headquarters to talk about relevant issues affecting the girl, especially education.
Bonang established the Buryary Bonam Matheba Fund in 2016 to provide free educational opportunities for young women in South Africa. The UN headquarters discussion was titled 12 Years to Break the Barriers and not to leave a girl behind, which is a campaign to allow every girl to have the most education by 2030. The conversation was in the leaders of present as British Prime Minister Theresa May, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg and French President Emmanuel Macron.
