The Game Apologises After Putting the Paws on Teammate During the Drew League

The Game has a lot on his plate recently, as he returns to the news, this time to fight against his teammate during the Drew League game. According to the Complex, things went out of hand during the game when the rapper attacked his teammate, Jarion Henry, which caused both adults to seize a fight. And from the footage taken from Twitter user @ Terelle, the two are moving to each other before the rapper appears to land a shot that sends Henry to the ground, before other players intervene. This comes one month after The Game lost the $20m lawsuit against Viacom, the American television and film company which hosted the VH1 dating series, “She’s Got Game”, following a $7.1m judgement against him by a woman he allegedly sexually assaulted.

It is unclear what caused the fight, but The Game returned on social media to post an apology, saying:

“I’m writing this sincere apology 1st & foremost to my teammate & lil brother @j_hennn for my role in our disagreement that went a lot further than it should’ve,” the rapper wrote. “I acted out of character & although as brothers for the last 7 years & one of my teammates I definitely consider family…. there are always heated moments on the court & in our locker room but it should never get to where it got to today… so again, this is my apology fam.”
