She has a lot of gay people around her, her glam squad, the people in her life, I wonder how they feel. - Eve Defends Kim Kardashian, Says Her Clapback on Tyson Beckford Wasn’t Homophobic

Eve is the first celebrity to speak up for Kim Kardashian after the internet went after the reality TV star over her response to Tyson Beckford’s diss.

The drama happened after new photos of the reality TV star strutting the streets in tight pants. While many people commended her body, model Tyson Beckford hopped on the comment section to make disparaging remarks about Kim’s body.
“Sorry I Don’t care for it personally,” he said, adding, “She is not real, doctor fucked up on her right hip.”
This stirred up a storm, and Kim, who never shies away from speaking her mind, dragged him on the comment section of The Shade Room Instagram page, saying: “Sis we all known why you don’t care for it.”
Her comment was accompanied by the tea, frog and nails emoji.

Many people thought Kim’s response was homophobic, but during yesterday’s episode of The Talk, Eve said Kim was only defending herself.

“I kinda wish she hadn’t have done it, because it seems like you’re saying something as if something’s wrong with somebody,” said co-host Sheryl Underwood. “She has a lot of gay people around her, her glam squad, the people in her life, I wonder how they feel. I can’t speak to it personally, it didn’t feel right and it’s not the Kim I know.”

Julie Chen added, saying it seemed “surprising” to her that Kardashian would comment like that, to which Eve disagreed, saying, “Was it?”
“I think she was coming back at somebody who was coming at her, that’s how I feel,” Eve said. “I feel he said something to her first which made her feel like she had to clap back … which I actually giggled about.”

“I don’t think it was homophobic, I think it was one of those things that’s like, she probably was hurt by that statement,” Eve continued. “So she probably was saying let me find something that would hurt him, to get him. I don’t think it was homophobic.”
