President Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece, Nana Gecaga, has opened up about her love life and her struggles to get a genuine lover.
The 40-year old who is also the CEO of Kenyatta International Conference Centre, admits being a granddaughter of Kenya’s founding father the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, has made it hard for her to find genuine love since most people tend to be interested in her status and pedigree and not her as a person.
Nevertheless, the mother of three insists that she’s happy as a single mother and doesn’t regret being born in the Kenyatta family.
In a candid interview with a local daily, Nana, who is the sister to President Uhuru’s PA, Jomo Gecaga, said:
“Getting a genuine partner, I would say. I have struggled with relationships.”
“I have had a couple of good relationships, but mostly it’s been difficult because the people have not been interested in me as a person,”
“But this is not supposed to elicit sympathy.”
“I don’t say I wish I was not born in a family like this, the love that they provide is undisputed.”
“Like I said I’ve got three beautiful children. I am a single mother and I am not dating or anything like that,”
