Pink is currently recuperating in a hospital after being diagnosed with gastric virus, E! News is reporting.
According to the media house, the 38-year-old singer postponed an additional concert in Sydney after being hospitalised and treated for gastric virus. The news was shared just hours before the singer was set to take the stage for a sold-out show at the Qudos Bank Arena.
“Pink was admitted to hospital in Sydney on Sunday night, suffering from dehydration. She was treated and discharged. She was readmitted to hospital today and diagnosed with a gastric virus,” Live Nation shared on their Twitter, adding, “Pink will remain in hospital overnight, continuing her treatment and recovery.”
This comes days after Pink fired back at trolls who had unkind things to say about her after she cancelled the first Sydney leg of her Beautiful Trauma Tour.
Posting on her Instagram, the singer set the record straight about a paparazzi pic that showed her lounging in the by a beach with daughter Willow nearby. The photo’s caption read “Pink’s Sydney concert cancelled as she chills in Bryon Beach.”
“I don’t need to clear this up, but out of respect for my fans I will attempt it,” the “What About Us” said the singer in a long post. “I scheduled this tour meticulously, trying to do what was best for my children, while also putting on the best and most physically demanding and beautiful show of my life. This break in Byron has been scheduled since 2017, as a way to get outside the hotel and the winter and have some time with my children.”She further explained that she’s “already been sick twice”, noting that she had to “push through” other concerts but needed to postpone her recent concert to get the much-needed rest.
Now, she is hospitalised and fans are sending her good wishes.
