Nicki Minaj Considers Pushing Back “Queen” Release by One Week, and Here’s Reason

10 days before Queen is scheduled to drop, Nicki Minaj is already considering pushing it back again by one week.

Posting on her Twitter , the rapper revealed she has run into a problem: that the album contains a track with an uncleared Tracy Chapman sample and a feature from one of “the greatest rappers of all time.”
“Tracy Chapman, can you please hit me,” Nicki tweeted, and in subsequent tweet, asked her fans if she should “keep date/lose record” or “keep record/push date1 wk.”
See the tweets below.

So there’s a record on #Queen that features 1of the greatest rappers of all time. Had no clue it sampled the legend #TracyChapman – do I keep my date & lose the record? Or do I lose the record & keep my date?  do we push #Queen back 1week? Ugh! I’m torn, y’all help

As at press time, 57% of the vote says she should keep the record and push back the release date by one week. However, Nicki had yet to decide what to do, because she tweeted these afterwards:

Y’all gon get mad tea on that song too. I’m high key lookin out for y’all chile. It’s sum GOODT TEA TOO    I’d be willing to sacrifice one more week for this tea! But I haven’t decided. Ugh. Love you #Queen

When it’s all said & done, I got you. That’s that on that. Trust & breathe. Already there. Did it. Did that. Good here. In a good chair. If you know, you KNOW. You always come first. Both days will be celebratory for the Kingdom. No matter the decision. Keep a trick
