Germany Attack: 2 Arrests Made In Tunisia Over Foiled Biological Attack

2 people have been arrested in Tunisia over a failed attack in Germany involving the deadly biological agent ricin and a bomb.

Counter-terror authorities in the north African state said they had identified two people who had been working in “close association” with a man suspected of plotting an attack in Germany.The police in Cologne arrested a 29-year-old, a national Tunisian known only as Sief Allah H, in June after an attack on a block of flats which saw ricin.  The police said in Tunisia that the first two terrorist suspects were tried to join militant groups in Syria, but his attention was drawn to Germany when his original plan failed.  They were talking about the man who had contacted the suspect arrested in Cologne, with the couple agreeing to carry out parallel terrorist attacks in Tunisia and Germany using conventional bombs.  Tunis authorities said the second man was detained in suspicion of making fake travel documents.  Claims that the papers were intended to help Sief Allah H flee to Germany and travel across Europe following a planned terrorist attack.  Men are referred to the public prosecutor's office.
