David Beckham Could Face Driving Ban

David Beckham might face a driving ban after reportedly clocking up 59mph in his Bentley in a 40mph zone.

The footballing icon has denied that he was speeding in his £160,000 car, but will face a courtroom showdown.

Becks, 43, is accused of driving over the speed limit in court documents that say he was clocked by speed cameras on the A40 in West London on January 23.

It's said he was caught doing 59mph between Paddington and North Kensington.


The case is due to be heard at Lavender Hill magistrates' court in Wandsworth, South West London next Tuesday.

If he's found guilty, the dad-of-four could be fined or banned from driving.

This isn't the first time the star has faced speeding charges.

In 1999, he was convicted of driving a £150,000 Ferrari at 76mph in a 50mph zone on the A34 in Greater Manchester.
