Hadiza Raisa Okoya and Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala wed on Easter Sunday – April 20 2014
Hadiza Okoya Alao-Akala has shared a glimpse of her husband Hon. Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala’s renovated office, bringing attention to the physical space behind his public work.
Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala currently represents Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. He previously served as chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government.
The office itself tells a quieter story about public service.
An office is more than furniture and fresh walls when it belongs to someone whose job involves receiving constituents, handling requests and working through the machinery of government. Earlier reports on Ogbomoso North's council infrastructure have similarly focused on renovating offices and creating a more functional environment for public workers.
For Hadiza, however, the moment is also personal: a glimpse into the working world of the man she married and the public life that comes with the Alao-Akala name.
What happens when a political office becomes part of a family's visual story — not just a place where official business happens, but something the people closest to the office also experience and document.
Behind every public title is a physical place where the work actually happens.
