The Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Modupe Mujota, has stated that women represent 55% of students matriculated at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic for the 2017/2018 academic session.
In a bid to promote the growth of education within a gendered woman, the commissioner expressed her satisfaction with school development to admit more female students in the new session.
The Mujota that started his speech at "Women Rock" encouraged women to seek for higher heights in all sectors of the country, 'since the sectors are best managed by women.'
He referred to women as 'a beginner with the ability to manage, develop and uphold any opportunity given to them' and added that 'the wrold was titling for one hour that their women had set the speed.'
He has accredited new students to accept the tough work to prevent their academic weaknesses and thus encourage tuition students to use the right time spent during their campus stay.
Remember that Polytechnic will hold her 34th Matriculating Ceremony last week for the 2017/2018 study session - Higher Diploma (Full Time / Part-Time) level.
However, in his speech, the Acting Rector, Ayodeji Tella, said, “we are delighted that you have joined us, and that you are now part of MAPOLY family. “The institution has since diversified its edge into other vocational, technological and cybernetic frontiers where our scholarly achievements and innovations are breaking ground.
“Since you come to this Polytechnic to grow intellectually you must choose to be challenged in your thinking- to have your ideas questioned, to be pushed to consider the assumptions that underlie your arguments.
