Meek Mill is speaking from the prison where he's serving his controversial sentence and insists the judicial system set him up to fail... from jump street.Meek spoke by phone to Lester Holt of NBC Nightly News about the 2 to 4 years that Judge Genece Brinkley gave him, and he said that the real problem dates back to 2008, when he was convicted of weapons fire and drug. Meek feels that the 10-year probation period he has got is almost impossible for him to avoid being thrown in jail. As he says, a simple jaywalking ticket would have sufficed for Brinkley to lock him up ... under the law. The Philly rapper's case is now attracting national attention and he is receiving tons of high-level support as critics question Justice Brinkley's sentence. Despite the pressure, she refused to recuse himself or grant Meek a bail hearing.
