On Friday, April 6, 2018, thousands of women including celebrities such as Bonang Matheba, Boitumelo Thulo dressed in all-black outfits from doek, beret or to headscarf a form paying their respect to Winnie Madikizela-Mandela .
The move was initiated by the ruling political party, African National Congress (ANC) as part of the ten days period of mourning.
