A socialite of Turkish andfriends were among the 11 people who died on Sunday when a private plane carrying them from a party in the Dubai bachelorette crashed into an Iranian mountain.

The airline is owned by a private company holding Turkish businessman Huseyin Basaran, and transported eight passengers and three crew, an official for Turkey's transportation ministry.
