Craig Mack, one of the artists first artists signed to Bad Boy Records, died. He is 46.  His cause of death was not released, but he was sick for some time.  His death came days after the fans celebrated the 21st anniversary of the death of his label mate Christopher Wallace, popularly known as Biggie Smalls (aka Notorious BIG) who was killed in an unresolved killing on March 9, 1997 in Los Angeles.  The 1994 song by Mack "Flava in Ya Ear" was the first single off of Sean Comb's Bad Boy label and the next remix featuring artists including Notorious B.I.G. and LL Cool J has been one of the definitions of hip hop songs in the 1990's.
