“Nigeria Is Now The Largest Importer Of Petrol In The World” – NNPC

The world's 8th largest exporter of crude oil, Nigeria, sit at the top of the list of the world's largest oil importers.  In a world where crude oil giants should never import oil, Nigeria has again drowned in a waste of highly available resources by literally importing a refined product from one of its most available natural resources. This pathetic turning point is a product of the ridiculous mass of corruption that has engulfed this nation since the first day we discovered crude oil in Nigeria.  Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Group Managing Director Dr. Maikanti Baru unveiled yesterday the new events in Abuja.

He said: “Nigeria is the only member country in the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) that imports petrol and is currently the largest importer of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in the world.”
