Mary J. Blige attended the 90th Academy Awards ceremony with much less weight on her shoulders. The 47-year-old singer and her ex-Kendu Isaacs settled their divorce Friday, just days before Blige attended the Oscars, according to The Blast.  

They were scheduled to appear in court on Monday, but were able to resolve the case without appearing in court. The details of the settlement have not been made public. They had been married for 12 years and the union did not produce any children. Blige has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in the movie Mudbound, as well as for the best original song for "Mighty River".
