A Kano entrepreneur, Malam Isma'ila Abdullahi Shabege has become fashionable after threatening suicide unless the governor of Zamfara State resigns as president of the Nigeria Governors Forum. It has been reported that Shabege escalated a radio transmission mast owned by Kano Broadcasting Corporation to commit suicide unless his wish was granted. The entrepreneur Kano, who was a political singer to the governor of Zamfara State in the 2011 general election, said in a note that he had left behind him that the governor had abandoned him after promising to support to develop his tricycle business. Musa Usman, an eyewitness who spoke to a Daily Post reporter at the scene said, Shabege arrived at the local Kano charging station in Tukuntawa, Kumbotso local government around 6 am Friday behaving abnormally before boarding at the top of the mast. Staff from the Kano State Fire Department, in collaboration with the police, convinced the contractor to get off at 11:45 am in a light drama setting. The young man has been attacked on social networks by different people who think that what he is doing is bad.
