A Nigerian was arrested by the Narcotics Control Board (NCB) in India. He was caught with 1.2 kg of heroin at Vadodara station on Wednesday. The man Madubueze Nonso Charles, 38, according to TimesofIndia, was arrested around 3.30am.   Hari Om Gandhi, director of NCB.speaking's Ahmedabad Zonal Unit on the arrest said; "When we searched his luggage, we found three hidden food packages of pistachios and rice flour. By opening them, we found white powder and tests confirmed that it was heroin, "said Hari Om Gandhi, director of NCB's Ahmedabad Zone Unit.
“During interrogation, he told us that he had received the consignment from another Nigerian. However, he has not revealed the name of the person,” said Gandhi. He has admitted to carrying drugs consignment in the past as well.
Charles also told investigators that he is HIV infected.
