Ex-Governor James Ibori’s Elder Brother, Chief William Ibori Marries His Young Bride In Delta State

Chief William Ibori, the former Unugbrogo of the Oghara Kingdom married his young wife traditionally  Ogharefe, Delta State's local Ethiope local government region. The new husband, who is the older brother of the former Governor of the Delta State, has gone through the traditional process of claiming his new wife in the presence of his family and friends. In 2010, HRM Oreki II, the Ovia of the Oghara Kingdom, stole the former Ungbrogodo of the Oghara Kingdom, William Ibori, elder brother of Chief James Ibori, former Governor of the Delta State, as Okakuro (Chief ) of the Oghara Kingdom. According to reports, it was stolen as a result of "flagrant acts of disloyalty and disrespect" towards the monarch and the traditional institution.
