"Americanah" Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie will be transformed into a television mini-series. In an interview with Extra, Lupita Nyong'o, who obtained the rights to the book four years ago, revealed that she would team up with costar "Black Panther" Danai Gurira to make the book a television show. . Lupita had revealed in January to the Hollywood Reporter that "Americanah" was becoming a miniseries. Speaking to Extra, she finally revealed more details, saying that Danai, who is of Zimbabwean origin, will write the miniseries, and she will play the lead actress. This will be the third time the two will work together, after "Black Panther" and "Eclipsed", a play written by Gurira that earned Lupita her first Tony nomination.
