Uriel Oputa, wrote a heartwarming message for her mother. Today, on the occasion of International Women's Day, Uriel shared a video of her mother, who is suffering from dementia, rocking a new hairstyle as she praised her. Uriel subtitled the video: "Happy Mother's Day to you Mom ... You taught me so much. I love you The future looks gray at times But gray is a color that can be changed at a glance. You taught me how to be a woman of grace and substance And told me that life is a matter of luck You blessed me with so much love I learned patience from you
Learned to cook from you The greatest gift you receive is the ability to love and be true. #Dementia Woman#love. Uriel in an earlier post had talked about taking her mum out for dinner and the effort it took before they got to their table. She wrote;’
Happy Sunday.. So i didn’t want to cook Today so took mum out to eat.. I was a little annoyed as we got to the restaurant because getting my mum into the taxi alone was No joke my perfectly contoured make up ruined, By the time I got into the restaurant I was sweating like a pig on heat, trying to hide my face whilst walking mum to the table felt like forever…with mum’s limited mobility, finally we sat down to eat. Phew!!! Now I’m trying to work on my face still a little annoyed. Then mum places her beautifully wrinkled hands on mine and says.. “UU thank you for bringing me out, this place is beautiful your a good daughter…” Just like that my annoyance vanished.. My eyes filled up with tears… It’s ok mummy. GOD Will Turn around every bad situation in your life and make it Good in Jesus Name. Amen Pls excuse my grammar I’m dyslexic..thank you.
