Air Force Deploys 100 Jets In Search Of Missing Girls



The Air Force has deployed 100 combat aircraft in search of the 110 schoolgirls kidnapped on February 19, the Federal Government said yesterday.  Students from the Faculty of Female Sciences and Techniques of the Government (GGSTC), Dapchi, Yobe State were kidnapped by terrorists in their shelters.  Twenty of the jets have flown 200 hours until Monday night, according to a fact sheet published by the Minister of Information, Culture and National Orientation, Lai Mohammed.  The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, moved yesterday to the state of Yobe "to personally supervise the search for the girls," the minister said.
