Moyo Lawal recently posed for a campaign for fellow Nollywood actress Mimi Orjiekwe’s makeup line, turning what could have been a straightforward beauty campaign into a little moment of industry sisterhood.

And honestly, this is the kind of collaboration that makes sense. Moyo brings her own recognisable screen presence to the images, while Mimi gets to put her beauty brand in front of an audience that already knows her from Nollywood. One woman gets the beauty spotlight; the other gets the association. Everybody gets visibility.
