Rihanna joins World Leaders & Donors in raising $2.3 billion at the Global Partnership for Education Financing Conference

With the participation of 10 heads of state and three former heads of state, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Financing Conference raised $ 2.3 billion for girls' education and boys in the world. The conference, co-organized by President Macky Sall of Senegal and President Emmanuel Macron of France, brought together leaders of organizations such as UNESCO, UNICEF and the World Bank, as well as individuals like Rihanna, GPE Global Ambassador. The commitment of $ 2.3 billion over the next three years is a significant step forward from the $ 1.3 billion pledged between 2015 and 2017. Speaking at the event, Rihanna said that while tremendous progress has been made, there is still a long way to go and the fight is not over until all the boys and girls will not have access to education.
