Ambode signs 7 new bills into law including one that guarantees 24-hours power supply in Lagos

Today, seven bills have been promulgated by Governor Ambode of Lagos State, and the most important is the Electricity Sector Reform Act, which provides legal support for the Embedded Power program.   According to the governor, this will help us realize our electricity generation plan to provide 24-7 uninterrupted electricity supply to Lagosians. The other bills passed today are the user fees bill, the nursing school bill, the cancer bill, the amended customary court bill and the draft law on the preservation of Yoruba languages.
