President Muhammadu Buhari congratulates Alhaji Femi Okunnu, former statesman and former Federal Commissioner for Labor and Housing, on his 85th birthday.   President Buhari congratulates all family members, friends and colleagues of the old statesman for the grace of living a long and fulfilling life, rethinking his fundamental contributions to the nation's infrastructural growth and progress in development. President Buhari claims that Alhaji Okunnu was among the first administrators to put Nigeria on the road to physical growth by patriotically ensuring a plan and implementation of the country's road network in the 1960s, which became the main roads after more than half century. The president preaches Alhaji Okunnu's position and nationalist positions at critical moments in the nation's existence, including the legendary role he played in media meetings after the civil war in Nigeria and his contribution to structuring of the legal architecture of the country. President Buhari prays that the Almighty God grant the old statesman a longer life, more strength and wisdom to continue serving the nation he loves so much
