Bayelsa To Fight Crimes With Drones

The state government of Bayelsa said it would launch a drone crime control system and a social park to fight crime in the state.  Speaking on the ongoing inter-ministerial briefings at Yenagoa, the state capital, the State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Chief Blessing Ipigansi-Igbagara, said that anti-crime drones were developed by an indigenous manpower and system technology.  He said that development is based on zero tolerance of the current administration for crime and crime.  He said the system was directly linked to police patrol duty at various locations and added that about four drones with a speed limit of 150 kilometers per hour would be thrown at each police station at state.
