The Federal Government (FG) in partnership with the Cameron government and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will begin the process of returning 91,000 Nigerian refugees from Cameroon next month.
The partnership, which was formed through a tripartite commission, was the sole responsibility of expulsion of refugees, who were in the camp of the Minawao refugee.
The Head of Humanitarian, Resettlement and Assistance department, the Northeast Initiative's Presidential Committee (PCNI) Dr Sidi Ali said the process has begun.
He added that they hope that by the end of February the final process of bringing them back to the country will begin. Dr. Ali, who revealed that refugees were desperate to return home, challenged poor funding.
